Conducting a self-assessment

Once you have completed an assessment, you can invite someone to perform the self-assessment. This is typically a colleague, but you can also choose to conduct the self-assessment yourself.

For each question, the self-assessor has the following options:

  1. Add a Comment
  2. Approve
  3. Suggest opportunity for improvement
  4. Indicate minor nonconformity

In the comment section, one can be explained why for instance, an opportunity for improvement was selected. This section also allows tagging colleagues and attaching files. If you tag a collegue, they will receive an email about it.

If the assessments includes scores, the self-assessor can modify these scores. For instance, in the CO2 Performance Ladder 4.0, requirement C.2-1 requires active contribution from key personnel. If "Yes" is answered during the assessment, 10 points are awarded for this question. The self-assessor can adjust these points if they disagree with the full compliance of this requirement. The adjusted score must then be justified in the comment section.

The self-assessment can be concluded at any time, even if not all questions have been assessed. This flexibility allows you to quickly move on if you prefer not to use this function and wish to proceed to the next stage, such as the internal audit or management review.
