Described function can only be accessed by the administrator.
The selection account Settings are shown in the lower left corner of the side menu.
In the application it is possible to make a calculation with the different quantities that are linked to the meters in the account. For example, quantities can be added together, divided or multiplied by a value. So it is possible to make flexible calculations with the data in the system. The starting point is always the quantity that is connected to the gauge.
You can select a quantity with all its underlying quantities. Variables are built up in a logical tree structure when possible. See the example below for Electricity.
In the screenshot below the checkmark including sub-quantities is checked. It means that with this quantity indicator, all underlying quantities are now also immediately included.
The advantage is that fewer sum indicators are needed and when changes are made, for example, by adding an extra quantity, it will be included in the calculation.
The choice as to whether or not to include underlying quantities is determined via the checkmark at Including sub-quantities.
For a quantity indicator, also indicate the unit in which the graph should be shown. For example, J, kWh, MJ and the like. Otherwise, the graph can deviate in scale.
The starting point is always that you first create the components (the quantity indicators). If desired, these can in turn be used to build up a so-called Compound indicator.
Note: by default, frequently used indicators associated with a certain system library such as CO2, safety, money and the like are added. These of course do not have to be created manually again. In addition, also indicators for common graphs have already been created. These are shown by the label Standard.
Set up composite indicator
To build up the calculation, in the first field, under calculation, you should choose an existing indicator. Standard mathematical characters can then be used in the calculation field, as indicated in the example.
N.B. It is recommended to perform a check calculation for the graph/table that can subsequently be called up on the dashboard or in the report. That way you know for sure that the right settings have been applied. In large accounts this can be done at a lower level.
